Strategically Focused MinistryA strategic focused approach to missions on the part of GBF involves making a proactive choice to understand the overall remaining task in world missions and investing ourselves in that portion of the task still remaining. Our conviction is that GBF ismore effective when it is able to adopt a specific unreached people group/s and focus its energies and resources. Our passion in the global outreach of GBF is to see the Lord using our church as an instrument of grace to reach some of the remaining unreached/least evangelized peoples of the world. Our goal is to see people from every tribe, tongue, and nation worshiping the Lord. Involvement in a strategic focus may involve partnerships with multiple churches and agencies, support of missionaries, sending of short-term teams, supplying resources and providing opportunities for our GBF family to participate toward a common goal. A strategic focused approach to missions, while a priority for our church, does not negate our ongoing commitment to the missionaries and ministries we are currently supporting. |
