Dear Friends,

As you know, Rosa and I made a visit to Papua, Indonesia this past February and March. Within a day of arriving in Papua, Rosa and Menas Mirin were at work on the editing process. They normally began at 8:00 in the morning and ended their day at 4:00 in the afternoon; long hours for this kind of work. The Lord blessed them in a wonderful way and, while they were not able to finish all the editing, they were able to finish Galations, Philippians, Colossians, I & II Thessalonians, I & II Timothy, Philemon, James, Jude, and the first thirteen chapters of the Gospel of John!

Since returning home, Rosa has continued the editing process and is now in the final stages. Rosa's hope is to submit the New Testament to the Indonesian Bibe Society for printing within the next two months. To say the least, we are very, very excited, as are the Kimyal people as you can imagine.

While the Kimyal tribe has a population of 18,000 (according to the most recent census), it has been recommended that an initial printing of 8,000 New Testaments would be appropriate. The cost will be approximately $3.50 per New Testament, bringing the total for the project to $28,000. Of that amount, $10,860 has already been raised.
